CircumBurke 25 or 18 miles

The original CircumBurke.  An epic Vermont experience on the famed Kingdom Trails network.  Climb over the shoulder of Burke Mountain and descend into Victory to experience remote views and singletracks. Fun and suffering.

Options:

CircumBurke 25  MTB  Challenge on an 25 Mile loop counterclockwise around Burke and Umpire Mts., beginning and ending at the Belmont Stock Farm on Kirby Rd in East Burke. 3000+ feet of climbing and descending! Each year – more singletrack.

CircumBurke 18:  This slightly shorter is version is by no means easy. With over 2000 feet of climbing, riders will find this route challenging and difficult – even without some of the singletrack in Victory. We have made a more direct route around the mountains for those athletes who want to enjoy their time on the course and at the feed stations more or don’t think they are up to riding  the additional 8 miles of singletrack in Victory.

CLEAN WATER CARBON OFFSETS: Driving to events like the CircumBurke inevitably results in carbon dioxide emissions, which undermine the forests we enjoy. To offset this damage,  competitors are offered the option to buy a $2 carbon offset through the ClearWater Carbon Fund.   By planting trees in riverbanks and their buffer areas in VERMONT, the Fund not only sequesters and stores carbon dioxide and generates a certified carbon offset, but also protects our rivers and streams.  One way to slow down our destruction of the planet.  Please visit   for more information.
